     Pierre-Auguste Renoir was born in Limoges, France on February 25, 1841. Before he was an artist, he was a apprentice to a porcelain painter but study drawing in his time off. During the 1870s, a movement started called the Impressionism and Renoir helped start it. After that he became a very well known artist during his time.The artist died December 3, 1919 in Cagnes-sur-Mer, France

Artist Statement

     Art is a special thing to me. I can express myself through art with no difficulties. I create art to help coop with stresses and forget about the real world. I also create art to make other people happy and help them forget about their stresses. I love to see when my art brightens up peoples day.
